USA 2019 - Dragonflies

Home

On this page I show photos of some damselflies and dragonflies. The trip was better for Odonata observation than for birding. Some of the more abundant species were out in numbers in this region in late May. I therefore ended up with numerous photos of dragonflies, and decided to show some images on a separate page. Unfortunately, at closer examination, many of the photos were quite naturally of the more common species, so there are several photos of a few abundant species on this page. I thank Hans A. Olsvik for ID-ing some of the species.

As I am no expert on dragonflies, some of the IDs might still be wrong. If you find any obvious errors, please notify me!
