Patterson's / East African Eland (Tragelaphus oryx pattersonianus). There are two species of Eland, the Giant Eland ond the Common Eland. The latter consists of three subspecies, the Patterson's Eland (T. o. pattersonianus) found in East Africa, the Livingstone Eland (T. o. livingstonii) found in Namibia, Northern Botswana, Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mosambique, Malawi and south-easterm Congo, and Cape Eland (T. o. oryx) found in Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, and south-western parts of Zimbabwe

The White Rhino subspecies found in Lake Nakuru National Park is the Southern White Rhino (Ceratotherium simum simum) which has been introduced to the park. The Southern White Rhino was historically distributed in Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland and Mozambique. Populations have been introduced outside of the former range of the species to Kenya, Uganda and Zambia. The Northern White Rhino (Ceratotherium simum cottoni), formerly found in several countries in East and Central Africa south of the Sahara, is considered extinct in the wild

Eastern White-Bearded Wildebeest (Connochaetes taurinus albojubatus), Amboseli NP. Five subspecies of Blue Wildebeest are recognised in Africa. These are the Western White-Bearded Wildebeest (C. t. mearnsi) migrating in large numbers in the Serengeti - Masai Mara ecosystem, the Eastern White-Bearded Wildebeest (C. t. albojubatus) found in Kenya and Tanzania east of the Great Rift Valley, the Nyassa Wildebeest (C. t. johnstoni) found in Southern Tanzania and northen parts of Malawi, the Cookson's Wildebeest (C. t. cooksoni) found in Luangwa Valley in Zambia and the Brindled gnu / Blue Wildebeest (C. t. taurinus), found in northern parts of Southern Africa.
